Flightless cormorant

Galapagos Sparrowhawk
- These hawks are the only predators of marine iguanas, they also feed on other birds, small mammals, and lizards.
- On the Marchena and Pinta islands, a single female is related to multiple males.
- All males feed their babies.
Albatross
- These birds nest on the Spanish island, which is the oldest in the Galapagos.
- It is a monogamous species.
- Before mating, they pre-dance, face each other making high-pitched sounds, shake their heads, and raise their beaks.

- They breed between January and March

- The only penguin in the world that can live in a tropical area.
- It is the smallest penguin species in the world.
- They lay 2 eggs that are incubated by their parents for 40 days.

- They feed on small fish and crustaceans.
