Galapagos, a natural paradise

If you are thinking of visiting a natural and quiet place, getting out of the routine but enjoying the commodities you deserve I got you a solution:  take a cruise to the Galapagos Islands. You’ll love the amazing nature, the place that was declared a world heritage on 1978 by the IUCN. The amount of animal species that inspired Darwin’s Theory of Evolution and many, many other great things that you can find on this enchanted islands.

Ecuador as the middle of the world

At first you need to go to Ecuador, a country that is located on South America and proudly called after the equatorial line that divides the entire world in two hemispheres. Once you are in the country you will have to fly to the islands, and you can do it from Quito, the capital of the country, or from Guayaquil the main city in the coastal region, that is much closer to the Pacific Ocean and the islands too.

I highly recommend for you to take a cruise because on that way you will be able to explore more places, have access to those islands that are inhabited by human population and all of this while getting a personalized tour guide.

The Galaxy Cruises

You’ve worked so hard for years and at some point you may have started to feel the need of a rest from your routine and the chaos of the big cities, so why don’t you enjoy a luxury service cruise? These are not common cruises; they don’t leave any minimal detail behind. Everything from the rooms to the pool comes with the amenities that mark the difference when it comes to cruises. The crew is there to give you the most complete and professional experience on a Galápagos tour.

Galaxy Cruises offers you different boat options according to your needs.

The EcoGalaxy Catamaran counts with 8 cabins with capacity for eighteen passengers and they range in size from 20 square meters to 22. As the Alya Luxury Catamaran all the cabins have private bathrooms and the other commodities listed before.

Finally, the Galaxy Yacht has 9 cabins too, distributed along the upper, main and lower deck with sizes that range from 13 to 18 square meters. The ship has a carrying capacity of 18 passengers.

All of this options come with bar, restaurant, either a jacuzzi or a sundeck, a dining room and other social areas to spend your time while you are resting from the marvelous activities the tour has to offer you.

As an natural place that has almost none human interference, the islands will allow you to be in touch with the wild life with activities like swimming, kayaking or snorkeling surrounded by endemic species like dolphins, whales and a great variety of fishes. Another option of activities is the animal watching or hiking that most of the islands offer you. On the surface you can find iguanas, sea lions, sea iguanas, albatross, also you can see the Galapagos giant tortoises and more animals on their natural habitat. Finally, if you need some rest you can also have a great beach time on this enchanted islands.

A heavenly stay!
The ship is wonderful… the meals were outstanding as well as their table settings. The entire trip was to perfection… the rooms, the panga boats, the drivers, the crew and the menus and our excursions were terrific.

The Islands

Some places like this offer the tourist the chance to visit the place and have some fun like in the cities we may all come from – boring! -, but this isn’t the same anymore. In fact, on this islands there is only 3 percent of human habitation. In other words, it’s a natural and well conserved place. On the main islands you’ll get to know the few cities of the area, but this is just a part of the whole map, there are 13 main islands, 6 islets and like 40 more rocks that are above the surface.

Amazing Fauna

Remember the guy that came with the theory of evolution and all that stuff? Well, he got inspired by the Galápagos islands. Why? Because in this islands you can see how animals evolve to adapt for their needs. You can see animals like iguanas, turtles, birds, whales and dolphins.

This place is a natural refugee for the wild life and yes, you can walk near to the nests of the most variety of animals that lives on these islands.

Another cool thing is the fact that you can came here on different seasons so you can watch different things, like the visit of whales, the arrival of sea iguanas, the sea lions and of course the giant tortoises. It will blow your mind how animals seem so unaware of the rest of the world beyond their islands.

Wild and beautiful

There’s not only animals, here you can also see the panorama of creation. Did I mention that these islands were formerly part of a volcano eruption? I’m so sorry but it’s because you can’t describe Galápagos on a few lines. The panorama on the islands is a must see. When you travel to Galápagos you can’t forget to bring your camera and take some of the most beautiful photos in your life.

Now is time for you to be the person that talks about this place, visit the islands, watch the animals, enjoy the luxury cruise and have a great history to tell your relatives back home.

You will never forget this place.

Let’s plan together…

The best trip of your life!
