The Real Tourist Superior Experience
This boat was previously owned by the company Ecoventura under the name Eric Yatch, after several negotiations on August, 2019 the ship was delivered in Guayaquil to the Gateway Company, which is currently in charge of its operation.
The ship was anchored until the month of September while all the corresponding procedures were done to be able to start with the renovation and also with the name change. On September, 2019 after completing all documentation required the new owners decided to rename the ship to “Bonita Yacht”, the new name was inspired by the all beauty the Galapagos Islands offers to travelers.
At the end of the same month, the ship began its reconstruction under the same precisely supervision of the new owners, complying with all the quality and safety standards that characterize the company. Thus began the hard work of a team of people who are passionate to work in this kind of projects, some of them worked on the other two previous projects of the corporation. Tecnavin was the company in charge of the reconstruction of Bonita under the supervision of Mr. Franklin Dominguez, Naval Engineer, highly recognized in our country for the various projects successfully completed as he also worked in the Alya and EcoGalaxy projects.

The team began with the evaluation of the conditions of the boat, at the beginning the estimated time to complete the whole project was approximately 3 months, as they increased the work they discovered that it was necessary to change mostly the complete naval steel ironing due to it had too much corrosion.
This work lasted approximately 6 months because of the ironing change time was very demanding and while this work was going on, the possible general changes of the ship were analyzed in order to create a more comfortable boat for guests and the crew members.
In the middle of December 2019, the first flexibility and stability tests of the boat were done successfully, in order to continue working on more structure interior details such as the cabins, bathrooms, restaurant, social areas, the kitchen, the crew facilities and more, after 6 months of hard work 90% of the ship was finished leaving the time to start with the interior design under the supervision of Mrs. Monica Frias as Quality Manager of the company.
